Chachani volcano, HFF
Arequipa is the second most important city of Peru.
Located 600 miles south to LIma at the Sierra it is 2500 meters over sea level and has a beautiful weather
Is named the WHITE CITY because the downtown mansions (PIP), Churchs as Yanahuara church (with an amazing facade) (PIP) an even its cathedral (PIP) are made with a special white stone called SILLAR.
One of its attraction are the volcanos that surround the city
Misti whith its triangular shape is the most important (PIP) , citizens from Arequipa are called "mistianos"
Chachani (in main picture) is for me the beautiest and PIchu Pichu (PIP) is the small brother
Is amazing to be in a city in wich every tine you elevate your sight , you see a volcano with snow at its top
Arequipa has tons of attractions for tourists
If you visit Peru, you must visit Arequipa
