Je crois que ce charmant jeune homme fort élégant qui me salue si cordialement est un Nigérian.Les jeunes filles sont des Espagnoles Je suppose que la personne qui a le sac à dos bleu est Palestinien (Beaucoup de groupes participent à ce festival. Je me souviens qu'il y avait un groupe Palestinien mais je n'affirme pas qu'il en fasse partie.)

Wonderful photo! Both men are from the Sahel region. They can be found in the northern edge of many countries bordering the Sahara Desert, including Nigeria. The man in fancy dress is Wodaabe, a nomadic people. The other one perhaps Fulani, a group that is not nomadic. The Wodaabe are a sub-group of the Fulani, but they have very different lifestyles.

I used to do a lot of research about these people and other groups in Africa, just for my own enjoyment.
