She is very musical but somewhat monotone ~ I'm thinking that they are heifers, I had a similar challenge with your shot where I lean more to it being a bull, but cannot be sure. It will be one or the udder.

Yes best not to grab em, a useful way of testing whether or not an electric fence is on is to take a long blade of grass and touch the wire with the tip of the grass and gradually slide the grass so as reducing the distance between the wire and your hand. That way you at some point will feel a tingle rather than a jolt. Hanwe Herb

I was driving a diesel engine land rover which sounds a lot like the wort of farm vehicle that might bring extra fodder, besides most cows are curious creatures anyway. I can also imitate a calf calling ~ it is a wonder that I wasn't overwhelmed :~)
