My dear Füsun
Thank you for visiting!
I am pleased you found it interesting.
These boots certainly were an impressive memorial, even without the flowers.
Best Wishes, a good weekend, and keep safe!!

Poignant and beautifully captured, Peter, some world leaders just will not learn.
Somehow, this image perfectly highlights those terrible times

Hi Rosa ,
Your visit is much appreciated. Thank you!
These boots are nominally for Jews who got killed in the war, but the meaning is just as relevant for today. Some people never learn!!
Best Wishes, a good weekend, and keep safe!!

Not sure if the nationalists want to be reminded. They seem to want to live in a bubble where none of this matter. Ridiculous, that in the memories they dream being a powerful European nation (a mix of nations)... well they became a rather self-centered own country.
