A lovely image and beautiful clouds. I like the way Roman roads still exist. They definitely built to last.

What a gorgeous landscape, Andy. The drystone walling is so beautifully done, and the mountains in the distance are great.

A fantabulous view Andy. I like the dry stone walling and the standing stones in the foreground. The straw (if that's what it is) seems to indicate a feeding place for the farms livestock. Beautifully captured.

THank you, Keith. Yes, I walk through many a farm on this route. The Roman road has been much destroyed, the paving stones used in walls and farm buildings, but it is apparent in some spots such as here. It is very obvious from the air. Less so from the ground today.

Hi Andy

Very nice picture, especially the fluffy clouds in the sky!
The Romans were good to us. They built roads, which I suppose have been used by travelers for centuries since.

Best Wishes and keep safe!

Actually so do I (and I love also the wonderfull dry stone walls of the UK, Brittany, and many many other places). Always a delight to see, wherever in the world they can be found!
