Die neue Stadtbibliothek sowie das Stadtarchiv von Tromsø befinden sich im modernen Rathaus. Das Stahlbetonbauwerk wurde 2005 fertiggestellt.

Wäre es noch größer, würde es nicht in das Stadtbild passen... es hebt sich
aber auch so schon sehr ab... in der Spiegelung kann man ja sogar fast den
Burger King erkennen ;))
