A Scottish Puffin

This beautiful little bird, a resident of Northern Scotland, was one of a trio seen at Duncansby Head, Britain's most North Easterly point.
The Storks of Silves.

Silves in Portugal is the setting for this pair of Storks, famously returning as a pair, year after year to rebuild their nest and raise young. Hope you enjoy this silhouette.
Goth invasion at Whitby.
|
|
|
|
For one week (at least) a year, the Yorkshire town of Whitby is invaded by Goths. Mainly because much of the book: Dracula, was based there. This character standing in the cemetery by Whitby Abbey has a certain appeal, don't you think!!!!

Just at the side of the Göta Kanal in Gothenburg, Sweden lies this memorial to the age of sail, albeit on land. In an case, making for an attractive photo in this contre-jour misty setting. Enjoy

** HERE IS HOPING THAT WE CAN GET BACK TO SHARING WITH OUR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND COMMUNITIES SOON! **

Seen in the seaside town of Seaford, Sussex. These are beach-huts lit up by the evening sun-set. Yes, talk about 'the Golden Hour'.
Le jardin

A view from our rented Gîte in Normandy across the garden, taken in the golden hour. Certainly a subject for a painting! The white blooming trees where possibly apple.

On a very lonely road near the giant 'Cow Green Reservoir' in County Durham sits this lone brick building, all forlorn. Behind is an old quarry that gives this reason as perhaps used for a shelter for the work-men. Now, just a shelter from the winds and rain for the many sheep.
The rusty shack
And one fell over...
