An Ennerdale Water dream

A misty morning at Alexandra Park
As the morning mist rises from the water in my local park, the sun starts to show its head. Enjoy with me this moment of tranquillity whilst it last.
New Brighton looking towards Liverpool.
Loweswater calm
One of our 'Lake District' lakes -Loweswater on a calm day like today is a lake of dreams. I am almost afraid to make a sound with the camera in fear of braking this mirror spell. Enjoy!
Winter postcard from Dovestones
A Winter scene from my favourite walking area, Dovestones reservoir, Greenfield, Oldham, Lancashire, UK.. Taken on a perfect Sunday afternoon after our first snow of the Season. Enjoy.
ps this is actually yeoman Hey Reservoir, the next reservoir to Dove Stones.
A hazy day at Dovestones

A local walk for me as I wander around here once more. Dovestones reservoir in Greenfield near Oldham is the lowest of four reservoirs meeting here at Dovestones. Just in the distance here lies Yeoman Hey and beyond that Greenfield reservoir. In the feeder valley to this (Chew valley), at the very top, lies Chew reservoir, surrounded by high moorland. A beautiful gentle pram walk surrounds Dovestones and is taken advantage of by young and old alike.
Lochranza castle
A contrasty view of this little castle here at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. It was actually a Tower house house dating back to the 16th century, although the original castle was built by the MacSweens in the 13th century.
A Delph Winter
Delph, one of the small Saddleworth villages not far from my home here in North West England. After an earlier than usual fall of snow and sub-zero temperatures I have the opportunity again to explore in conditions like this. Of course, a shot for the super wide-angle lens here. Enjoy.
Harmony

There are many kinds of fences, some more practical than others. Here we see a fence of two wires and three post. Purpose and practicality ??? - Seen in the middle of a lake ( Las Salinas) in the town of Calp, Spain.
A road bridge salutes a yacht!

All pedestrian and car traffic comes to a halt as this yacht sails into this small inner harbour. Enjoy the reflections here.
Seen in the pretty town of Honfleur, France.

I just love reflections. Especially when they are as interesting and colourful as this. Seen in Honfluer's inner harbour. Enjoy!
Classic Honfleur
The classic view of Honfleur and its magnificent inner harbour. I have visited many seaside villages and towns like this but I must admit to this being possibly the best one for reflections such as this. I think you will agree with me, a perfect place for a walk, something to eat and some beautiful photos. The bright outside cafe awnings make a fitting contribution to this old town.
ps -deserves full screen treatment :) .............. See PiP's
Classic Honfleur 2

Against my normal instinct, I have posted here another picture of the Port de Honfleur here. Please forgive me if this is just my indulgence, otherwise enjoy.
See PiP's for alternate Honfleur photos.
