The Petronas Towers
No trip to Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur is complete without looking up to these massive twin towers with their connecting skybridge. Enjoy

The Langdale Pikes
A golden oldie should be seen now and again and so here is one of my 2016 captures previously in Panoramio.
Our English Lake District shown at its most dramatic here from near Elterwater. Of course for me the late sun hitting the rocks complimented by snow on the distant peak of the distant peak is pure magic.
We see here: Harrison Stickle with the snow then Loft Crag, Pavey Ark and Pike o’ Stickle
Have a great day.
Red tin roof at Oldshoremoor Bay
Looking towards Oldshoremoor Bay in the Scottish Highlands North West coast.
A reminder of our trip to the far north of Scotland in 2014. These distinctive old farm buildings dotted the landscape around here. One from my Panoramio collection and a reminder too of just how many of our holidays were in grey wet weather.
Enjoy the day. Herb

The ancient Whitby Abbey
Reminded by our Ipernity friend Rosalyn Hilborne and her excellent photos of Whitby and its Abbey, I revisited my old Panoramio photos of the same subject. Here is one taken in 2014 set in an atmospheric monochrome in an attempt to add the feeling of age and perhaps conjure up images relating to Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
The Abbey was a 7th-century Christian monastery that later became a Benedictine abbey. The abbey church was situated overlooking the North Sea on the East Cliff above Whitby in North Yorkshire.

Reflections on Loweswater
Looking over ' Loweswater in the English 'Lake District' towards 'Low Fell'. Enjoy/
The lovely Scottish Highlands
Another golden oldie here from June 2014. We have had a great day out exploring and walking around this north west corner of Scotland, having explored the Oldshoremore and Sandwood Bay area and so we are on our way back to our holiday caravan site at Durness. As we drive the 35km + road back we pass numerous glens and highland scenes, this is but only one. I believe we are driving through Strath Dionard and it is the River Dionard that we see here.
Enjoy full screen.

Beach Canter
Back in the summer of 2016 we explored the Lincolnshire coast area. Here we are just to the east of the village of Alford and north of Skegness. A grey day, as it is often here and like much of this coast now, dotted with windfarms. Looks like a good place to go for a canter on the soft sand that horses seem to love.
Nice full screen, enjoy the day.

A view from Essex
Here is a photo from 2014, taken near the village of Bradwell-on-Sea. The star of the show undoubtedly is ‘The Chapel of St Peter-on-the-Wall’. It is a Christian church dating from the years 660-662 and among the oldest largely intact churches in England. It is in regular use by the nearby Othona Community, in addition to Church of England services. It is a Grade I listed building. See PiP
Nice full screen, enjoy the day.
