Over the sands
No matter what the camera and lens still taped away behind a bag. The tripod is wearing big feet from plastic bottle so it does not sink in the sand.

The preparations were worth it! Taped behind a bag does mean the front of the lens was not behind plastic, I presume.

Yes the only part was the front element and the lens cap they got blown out once i got back to the unit and when i got home they all got a big clean down. highly recommend it with my head and L bracket very easy to us in the bag also. still try to get the sand out of my shoes as well. preparation is the key in a spot like this.
