i think this is a wheat farm by the looks of the stubble but its no green landscape. this was when we had to take the detour because of the accident.

Yes John a way of trying to keep natural water about for live stock, most case plastic lined well below the surface.

Fred given some water from the winter rains this will be green but most of the year its like this once the rains stop.

Thanks I thought it would stretch a few to even see them. Be interesting to see the scenery on the way up to Kalbarri. Its been warm so it will have turned very easily to brown. HFF all the best from down under for the weekend.
