A fine composition Amelia, like the pools of water leading off into the background and the textures of the sand. Nice that there is a little water below the boat to provide a reflection.

WOW!!! That is such a cool picture...I have to wonder if the hull of the boat is put under terrible stress when it's grounded on a low-tide. In any event, your picture is awesome...love the reflective puddles too. An unusual, super image!

I think the substrate is a sort of muddy sand and is probably quite soft, so the hull would be OK.
