The ipernity app for Android smartphones and tablets is now available on the Google Play Store :)

Post your photos on ipernity. Browse for those already there...
Send up to 200 photos at a time!
Your device stays entirely available during the upload.
You can resize your photos if you wish to have a faster upload.
And many more great options to discover...

What you must know

Only photos can be sent at this time. No videos.
The pages displayed are the ones that show up in the mobile version of ipernity (https://m.ipernity.com). We know that these pages are a little bit "old school" but be sure we'll work on them more and more each day to best fit touch devices.
Articles section is not yet implemented.
Group discussions are not yet available.

So it’s basically an interface to your mobile site instead of a real app?

For a faster launch of the ipernity app, we've decided to reuse the mobile site for the browsing part. The added value consists in uploading facilities.

We've already planned to replace the browsing part by a new interface using the native capabilities of Android.

The new app is a much more convenient way to upload content than the other ways I've tried - the mobile website uploads seem to fail if I do anything else in my browser, even on another tab while the upload is running and when I tried uploading by email, I only have about a 40% chance the picture actually arrives on ipernity for whatever reason.

So thank you very much! The app is a much better way to upload content from android in my experience.

I don't know is this a good place to report, but I can't the Ipernity for Android to sign in on Sony Xperia U (Android 4.0.4). I just see black display when I try it. I can only browse pictures of other peeps.

EDIT: 'Sign in' does not work on Nexus 7 (Android 4.3) either.

I install the app and I install ipernity Ican see my page and photos but but I cant upload the photo from my phone to Ipernity

What happened to the Android app? I used to have it on my phone but it's disappeared and I can no longer find it in the Google Play Store.
