Dear members and friends of ipernity,
Exactly one year ago in a Newsflash, the ima team proposed a new subscription structure. With your help, it has been continuously improved and designed to be practical. Today the implementation has taken a big step forward. The "Basic" button on the subscription page is now active:
Please note: Downgrading is only possible at the end of a subscription period. The button remains inactive (grey) until then. After a downgrade, some features of the standard subscription will no longer be available. In addition, lower upload and storage space limits apply:
- Maximum disk space: 5 GB
- File size (max.): 2.5 MB
- Number of uploads (max.): 2000
- Upload limit (monthly): 200 MB
You will continue to have access to content below these limits afterwards. Any additional content will be deleted after 3 months, starting with the oldest. It cannot be restored afterwards. If necessary, sort your portfolio accordingly before a downgrade, because afterwards you can only access the latest 2000 uploads.
You can upgrade to "Standard" at any time. The remaining time of the basic subscription will then be halved before the extension time is added.

Euer ima-Team
Thanks for all the work done behind the scenes to achieve this.
Now let's hope that the increase in additional Basic Subscriptions will exceed the number of possible downgrades. Because while our community doesn't need to make a profit, we need surpluses for the reprogramming that was decided at the members' meeting in March 2019.
By the way: The simplified flow chart is already integrated in all language versions: www.ipernity.com/club
Ich müsste also mindestens einmal 100 GB nachbuchen. Wo mache ich das denn?
Rob Stamp club has replied to Martin Korth clubI appreciate you noticing how much storage space you are using, and doing something to control it. I suspect you are not alone in this.
Nothing has been started on this, but after the successful programming of the multi-year purchasing options, and for the user being able to activate a Trial subscription without having to send a ticket, I can see a way forward.
Only now considering the question of "Where to pay", I think a second button with the red "Extend your Subscription" button - a logical place to find the option to make an extra payment for storage space. With a link to that page from the Upload page.
But that is a minor issue, the team still needs to give some thought on how best to implement the option, with consideration for what is easiest for the user, but also what can be achieved in the existing system.
We will keep you updated with developments.
raingirl club has replied to Martin Korth clubI think you are wanting to pay for the extra 100GB storage right now. In your specific case, you do NOT need to do that right now.
SEE ima.team REPLY - their word is gold!
[I've edited out my prior reply as I was wrong - sorry if I caused any confusion.]
raingirl club has replied to Rob Stamp clubTeam club has replied to Martin Korth clubTo your specific question: There is nothing to pay at the moment. What was booked until March 31, 2019 (the day before the tariff change) at the old "Club" conditions will of course be fulfilled. Additional disk space bookings will therefore be due from April 1, 2020 at the earliest. The necessary payment options should be available by then.
