Sunday May 13, Mother's Day in many countries...

'Stand united' in silence, 1-1:05 pm tomorrow, local time, Still time to co-create a global wave of positive intention for the Earth's children.

THE INVITATION All of us here who anchor the Standing Women project are noticing the deeper and more expanded conversations we have in our small groups. The words of those who post on the Standing Women website convince us that small groups everywhere are uniting and evolving together, moving humanity in the direction of love. What if each time we think that thought, each time we extend our love, each time we remember our unity, we really do reinforce the connecting energies between us, and become more substantially ourselves?
Check out our map, imagining all the small groups worldwide connected.
Please add your location to the map, and stand united on May 13, 1 pm local time for 5 min of silence for all the Earth's children.
Let yourself be inspired by the whole of us, and pass on the invitation.

With love and blessings for all that you do, Jeanie, Deb, Bruce, Julie, and Bonnie for Standing Women

The story of Ariel's song (from Jeanie's message last year) Nine years ago, my daughter Ariel wrote a song for me. She told me that, unlike her other songs, it seemed to come through her ‘whole cloth’ like it was already there to be channeled, and she named it ‘White Linen.’ ‘White Linen’ always made me cry, but it’s only last year, after eight more years of standing, that I realized that the energy of that song is exactly the commitment that I feel when I stand for the children… I am still so awed by this realization, that I feel I must send Ariel’s song out with this invitation. In the song Ariel sings to her child, ‘Half of all life is living, while half of it dies. Like the fruit lives through the fruit fly, there will you go,” and I feel the bittersweet of this life on earth writ large in what is now a global struggle to survive. Yet, when Ariel sings, ‘You’ll be first in line, come to fill the darkest caves with sunshine,’ I know without a doubt that the children ARE the future. And when she sings ‘I will build your bowl to balance on the tipping line,’ I feel the depth of my commitment to stand for the children and the generations to come.

Please listen to Ariel’s song and let it spark the deep truth of what we are doing when we stand for the children. If it speaks to you, feel free to share the music when you stand on May 13 at 1 pm, Mother’s Day in many countries. Here is the link: youtu.be/LZetSvKw6v4

DECLARATION OF STANDING We are standing for the world’s children and grandchildren, and for the seven generations to come. We dream of a world where all of our children have safe drinking water, clean air to breathe, and enough food to eat. A world where they have access to a basic education to develop their minds and healthcare to nurture their growing bodies. A world where they have a warm, safe and loving place to call home. A world where they don’t live in fear of violence--in their homes, in their neighborhoods, in their schools, or in their world. This is the world of which we dream. This is the cause for which we stand.
