It would be great if you added it to the official WordPress plugins list! Then it will be easier to find for others, and people who uses one of the newest versions of WP will be automatically notified when you update it! :)

I’m about to rewrite it’s code (again ...), because my hosting provider (or PHP5) don’t supports http-URLs in include(), what i used so far. I want to use readfile() to create a local copy of the data and then include it, the other parts of the script working well.

Only the “make a local copy of the data, calculate the time interval and update, if the user visits the blog (but only if the time is over) and parse the local file, and after this is done, i need to rewrite the manual and inform the users, that they need to add a intervall to the function’s call” thing needs to be done ... *g*

Maybe i do this during the weekend :)

Btw. i added it here a while ago: wp-plugins.net Once it was the first site, you found by using Google with “"wordpress plugins"” :)

Hmm ich hab ewig nach so nem Plugin für Wordpress gesucht. Im endeffekt habe ich es dann mit dem normalen RSS Feed der Bilder eingebunden bekommen, hatte aber keinen Einfluss auf die Größe der Bilder (soweit ich weiß)

Mittels rss-to-javascript.com, ja :) Mein Plugin kommt ohne einen externen Anbieter und ohne Javascript aus. Beides ist - zumindest mir persönlich - sehr wichtig.

Mir eigentlich auch, aber das war die einzige Lösung, die funktionierte und nicht ganz so aufdringlich war.

Meine neue Version (wird veröffentlicht, wenn die neue Wordpress-Version draußen ist, und das ding da dann genau so funktioniert) unterstützt auch das zwischenspeichern des RSS-Feeds. Die Bilder werden nach-wie-vor direkt geladen, aber der RSS-Feed muss nicht jedes mal geholt werden, was beim Laden des Blogs etwas Zeit spart :)

Ja auf die neue Version wart ich auch schon ungelduldig. Für wann ist sie jetzt angekündigt? Ich weiß dass sie es zum zigsten Mal verschoben haben.

Wirds so nen Plugin auch für Wordpress MU geben?
Ich habe grad für unsere Community ein WPMU System aufgesetzt und hab gemerkt dass das eher Stiefmütterlich behandelt wird und ich da noch ne Menge selbst dran machen musste (Sprachdatei vervollständigen usw)

Angeblich im April ;)

Das Plugin sollte theoretisch überall da laufen, wo PHP verfügbar ist. Es werden nämlich keine Wordpress-Spezifischen Funktionen aufgerufen. Zur Not sollte es sogar gehen, das Ding einfach im Theme selbst irgendwo zu includen.
