The last message from the flickr-stuff:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Flickr customer care.

I can delete Flickr account "NÜRNBERGER_BRATWURST" for
you, but I need you first to confirm by replying to this
email.

Deleting Flickr account "NÜRNBERGER_BRATWURST" will
permanently erase all photos in the account, along with
their associated metadata.

Would you like me to proceed with the account deletion?

Regards,
Emily

My answer:

Hi Emily,

the problem is, that I´ve deleted my account via the "delete my account"-option in my account-settings.Everything went fine. And I´ve also deleted my Yahoo!-ID after that step.
You see I´m not able to use this account anymore (excepting the cookie-way). So please delete it for me.

Can you tell my why the account was not deleted properly?

Bye

That is really strange. Makes me wonder, what happened with all the data I uploaded to flickr and deleted later. Round about 200 photos. And it makes me consider deleting my googlemail account, too. You just cannot trust in nobody when it comes to personal data and I heard so many rumors about googlemail-data stored till the end of days even though the account was deleted by the user.

We are living in a crazy world full of hot air, data-mining, content, win-win, shareholder value and other things without a soul. A giant waste of time. You have to choose your companies carefully. And never use your real name and address. ;-)

And here is the final answer:

Hello XXXX,

I can see that your Yahoo! account was deactivated, but
there isn't any record that your Flickr account proceed for
account deletion.

I have deleted Flickr account "NÜRNBERGER_BRATWURST" per
your request.

Regards,
Emily

My account is now completly deleted. How can it be that this account was only deactivated?

Dirk pro replies:
Because Yahoo wants to keep the user count up for marketing purposes, i guess.
